Hi there curvy divas,

As someone that is constantly being asked where to buy fashionable and youthful plus size clothing, I’m glad to tell you that the millions of plus size fashionistas are finally being recognised by designers and retailers, on a major scale.

Via twitter I have been hearing that Marc Jacobs is going to create a plus size collection. This curvy diva is not surprised as the collection he designed for Louis Vuitton A/W 2010 included curvaceous models in cute circle skirts. Something we do not get to see enough of. I have no doubt in my mind that Marc’s collection will be free of the frumpiness we tend to see far too much for plus size collections. Do you agree? In the London (UK) I spend a lot of time in Harrods and Selfridges, because they both offer designer brands for us plus size ladies. And now, I am pleased to say that Saks Fifth Avenue will be adding plus sizes to their designer brands. Although I’m glad to see that the plus size movement is finally being recognised by designers on/off the runway and retailers, I can’t help but feel it’s long overdue.
